The Kohler Police Department is accepting applications from responsible individuals for the position of Police Officer. Responsibilities for this position include justly enforcing the laws and ordinances of the State of Wisconsin and the Village of Kohler in a community-oriented policing environment.

U.S. Citizen; Minimum age of 21; Drivers license; Good driving record; Good physical condition; Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification; High school diploma; 60 college credits; Ability to possess a firearm; No felony convictions; No domestic abuse convications; Good verbal and written communication skills; React quickly and effectively to stressful situations; Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; Clear and concise speech; Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously; Ability to perform essential functions of this position; Ability to use all standard law enforcement equipment
